Air conditioning installation in Marbella and the Costa del Sol

Split, multi-split, ducted installation or Airzone zoning: we help you choose the system to fit the property, not the other way round. A site visit, a fixed quote before we start, and a documented start-up once the work is done.

Systems we install

Every property calls for a different system, depending on its layout, whether it has a ceiling void, and how many rooms need cooling.

Split and multi-split

One or several indoor units connected to a single outdoor unit (multi-split), to cool individual rooms or a whole property without ducting work.

Ducted installation

Air distribution hidden inside the ceiling void, with a single indoor unit covering several rooms and a finish that only shows the grilles.

Airzone zoning (optional)

Added on top of a ducted system, it lets you control the temperature of each zone in the property independently. Can be part of the initial project or considered later.

Split or ducted? How to choose

If you only need to cool one or two rooms, or there's no ceiling void, a split or multi-split solves it with minimal building work. If you want to cool a whole property with a clean finish and no visible units, and you already have or plan to build a ceiling void, a ducted installation makes use of that space to hide the whole air network. On a full renovation, it's worth deciding before the ceiling design is finalised, because it changes how the available space is used. See the full comparison, with a table, in our guide to ducted vs split air conditioning.

How we work

The same process on every installation, from the first visit through to start-up.

Site visit

We assess the property, how each room is used, and where the outdoor unit can go, to choose the right system and the right power output.

Fixed quote

Once the system is defined, we give you a fixed quote before scheduling the installation — no surprises halfway through the job.

Installation

Fitting the units, refrigerant pipework, electrical wiring and, where the project includes it, the duct network or Airzone zoning.

Start-up

Checking pressures and airflow, setting up remotes and controls, and a signed work report with photos of the finished installation.

Service area

We install in Marbella and its surrounding area, within roughly a 30 km radius. If you're outside this zone, just get in touch and we'll let you know if we can help.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a split unit and a ducted installation?

A split system has one or more visible indoor units connected to an outdoor unit. A ducted installation hides all the air distribution in the ceiling void, leaving only a grille visible, and can cool several rooms from a single indoor unit.

Do I need building work to install air conditioning?

It depends on the system. A split unit just needs the units fixed in place and a refrigerant pipe run, with minimal building work. A ducted installation needs a ceiling void, so it's worth planning it alongside any renovation already under way.

Can I add Airzone later, or does it need to be decided at the initial installation?

On many ducted systems, Airzone can be added later if the original project allows for it. Even so, it's worth deciding early, because it changes how the duct network is designed — it's simpler to include it from the start than to add it afterwards.

How long does an air conditioning installation take?

It depends on the system: a split unit is usually installed in a single visit; a ducted or multi-split installation takes longer because it involves minor building work and electrical work. We give you an estimated timeframe at the site visit, before scheduling the installation.
